T-Pain Apologises To DJ Cuppy, Viola Davis, Others. Iconic American singer, T-Pain, posted a hilarious video on his Instagram account in which he admitted that he had no idea a DM request folder existed on Instagram until he discovered a bunch of A-listers who’d tried to contact him over the years, Billboard reports.

“I swear!! I’m just now seeing all these messages and mentions TODAY!!!!” he wrote. “How do I super apologize? Press conference? Townhall meeting?

I’m dumb.” He exclaimed.

In the accompanying video, an embarrassed T-Pain looked on as a long list of missed messages scrolled over cartoony music, featuring messages of support and requests from the likes of Sech, Pia Mia, Diplo, Kway, Nate Robinson, Tyler Cameron, YBN Nahmir, Viola Davis, Keri Hilson and dozens of others.

In the video, he said, “I was today years old when I found out about the request folder on Instagram that’s full of celebs trying to reach me.”

As he watched the requests roll by, he added, “Dude is that Fergie?! smh.

Then, after actually shaking his head, he said, “I’ve been accidentally straight up ignoring all these people for like 2 years.

I thought DM’s are supposed to just show up in the normal folder and you don’t have to go digging for all these.”

Feeling contrite, he apologized to everyone on the long roster of ignored DMs, as well as the many he couldn’t fit into the clip.

“Yup……. I’m stupid,” he concluded.
